The media is doing what it does best - distractions from the infractions. I'm glad Christie didn't get a pass on "bridgegate". Still, I know the information that broke last week regarding Benghazi SHOULD be of national concern. Hillary didn't care that Chris Stevens was a Democrat and her "friend". She ignored and even DENIED those requests for more security several times.

We now know that Benghazi was powder keg long before the terrorist attack on September 11, 2012. Acts of violence and even a military-style rally held by Al Qaeda members were reported as early as June of that year. This rally was no amateur event and it was not spontaneous. The two-day event was described in a report to the U.S. Government. It was held at Al-Tahrir Square in Benghazi and consisted of at least: 30+ battalions from Benghazi and surrounding towns, dozens of military vehicles with heavy, military-style weapons and three-hundred, armed guards. There were Black al-Qaeda flags flying. and they were calling for the murder of U.S. diplomats. Just three days after the rally, a forty-foot hole was blown into a wall at the U.S. mission in Benghazi. Did Hillary and the State Department need proof that violence was escalating in Benghazi? If so, it looks like she got what she needed. So why was Chis Stevens still at the mission on September 11th?

None of this makes any sense.

   All other countries pulled their people out.  Why was Ambassador Chris Stevens still in Benghazi on the anniversary of 9/11?

After the TERRORIST ATTACK on the mission in Benghazi,  Obama and his administration came out with suspicious statements. No one believed the story about a YouTube video causing a violent protest.

Get Ready, Get Ready

Hey, my Conservative, fellow champions of character and honor...
I know the turds we call the 'mainstream media' are saying Conservatism is dead. Also, the traitors known as the 'GOP establishment" are urging Conservatives to abandon our core values and beliefs. They think Republicans need to be more marketable and the only way to do this is by moving more to the left.

It is Establishment Republicans who are trashing the Tea Party now. They see the Tea Party as a threat to their cushy jobs and their cushy existence. The Democrats are loving this discontent within the Republican party. They're saying the GOP will implode and there will be no more GOP.  Democrats see the Tea Party as a threat to their agenda. After all, it was the Tea Party that motivated the public to go out and vote in 2010. In fact, it was their poster girl, Sarah Palin who went out and endorsed many of the winning candidates in that mid-term election.  The "establishment" Republicans are even worse than Democrats because they pretend to be something they're not - Conservatives. Don't let them fool you; they're Progressives.

Progressives follow Saul Alinsky's teachings from the book, Rules for Radicals.

In the book, Alinsky spends several pages on confronting "the opposition". 

Alinsky wrote, "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." After reading Alinsky's book, a lot of what the left is doing actually starts to make sense, but only because you are reading their instruction manual. Alinsky explains more on another page, "When your 'freeze the target,' you disregard these [rational but distracting] arguments." So that is why the left never make any sense! That can only be part of it; there's no way Alinsky can be held 100% responsible for their confusing, thought process. 

 "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon," says Alinsky, "It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule." 

Alinsky's teachings do explain what the left does with "the opposition" though. It explains why Sarah Palin and the Tea Party are attacked so viciously. Alinsky basically tells them to tune out all common sense and go after the enemy with every tactic possible. Nothing is off limits. The GOP establishment must see what works for the left and do what they do. They're tactic is to scare Independents and Republicans by saying the Tea Party wants to destroy the GOP.

Just remember they were saying the same things about Ronald Reagan in 1980 - right before Reagan was elected. Take note; Barack Obama only beat Mitt Romney by 400K votes - and thousands of those votes were fraud! As usual, the GOP progressives never bothered to speak up on our behalf. And the mainstream media? They would never report those curious, little things known as FACTS. The mainstream media look the other way when a negative, news-worthy story about Democrats surface. 
But if Rush Limbaugh or another conservative comments, the media will take them out of context and make a major news story about nothing, This goes on constantly.

It was no different when Ronald Reagan started running against an incumbent, Democrat president. 
Ronald Reagan was deemed "too conservative" to win an election. That's what the establishment Republicans said anyway. Sound familiar? Instead, Reagan brought great ideas; he won over all of the Republican party, several Independents and even some Democrats.

   Where is our Reagan? My father says it's too soon to start talking about the presidential election. 
No, it isn't!  The Democrats are already working towards 2016. And this time, they're ready for 2014. The left isn't quite as arrogant right now; they no longer have a super-majority. This midterm election won't be as easy as 2010. I hope Sarah Palin is "reloading" and getting ready to endorse candidates across the country again.

In the meantime, check out out who is running in your state and who could lose their seat in congress.
It's helpful to check out your local Tea Party to see who they are endorsing. If you haven't got a clue yet, they will tell you who to vote for. Get the names and do your own research though. You most likely can find local Tea Party chapters at http://www.meetup.com/.
We have to keep fighting no matter what the naysayers have to say. History repeats itself; remember Reagan when it seems impossible. I'd rather go down fighting than sitting back, watching my beloved country collapse. I'd rather no "go down" at all. We ALL have to be willing to fight though.

Obama Adminstration: Bait and Switch?

On Saturday night, President Obama  made an announcement; Sec. of State, John Kerry made a nuclear deal with Iran. Since I'm on the subject of John Kerry -
I can't believe that monotone voice ran for president. People actually voted for this guy? My head feels like it's going to explode. Our government keeps doing the opposite of what I believe the American people want - especially when it comes to foreign affairs. I feel like we're making a deal with the devil.

By Sunday morning, I started thinking that this is so typical of the O administration. Would they make a deal with Iran just to switch focus from Obamacare? Of course they would. If there are any doubters out there, remember these same people let 4 people die in Benghazi. They knew those men were in danger and ignored the pleas for help. Official documents prove this to be true. They knew how volatile Benghazi was. Several state employees testified how concerned they were. Why was there was so little security there at such a dangerous site and on such a precarious date? Those men were sacrificed so Obama could save face and get re-elected.
Sickening. Never underestimate how ruthless they are.

Another Word for 'Halfwit' is 'Liberal'

 I remember the good, old days when I'd would pick up my handy Dictionary to look up a word. The definition would be neutral, cold, and accurate. My Thesaurus was the same way.  For over forty years, I could trust these writing tools to give me fact-based information. That is, until recently while using my iMac from Apple.

 I was wondering what the definition of 'liberal' was. My Macintosh computer comes equipped with 'widgets', including a Dictionary and Thesaurus. I know Progressives have poisoned textbooks with biased information, but I didn't know they got a hold of Apple's widgets.

That's not skewed at all! 
I couldn't believe how obvious it was. 
I had to look up 'conservative' to see if the word was given a positive tone as well. I'll let you be the judge.

Sad.
Every kid with an iPad is going to think liberals are kind and approachable while conservatives are unfriendly and archaic. We need to let the young people of today know conservatives are not what liberals claim we are.

On the Wrong Side Again

I wish America had stayed out of the whole "Arab Spring" BS. I felt that way then and I feel the same now. Gaddafi was a tyrant, but at least he was a quiet one. It all started with the no-fly zone over Libya (thanks Hillary). We no longer have the funds to be the enforcer of the world. Not only that, they HATE us.
Our alliance should have been to our true allies - Israel.
When the Arab Spring started to take place, we should have OK'd the Keystone Pipeline, doubled down on our own resources - including Alaska.

I am SICK of what is happening to the Coptic Christians in Egypt. It's no secret that the Muslim Brotherhood is behind the church burning and murders of Christians. If ever we were to get involved, the time would be NOW in helping the Christians vacate Egypt....and that's all.

Our president is friends with the Muslim Brotherhood (to say the least). He's a traitor to this country and he should be IMPEACHED.

Our president is on the wrong side of this catastrophe in the Middle East.

Keep it Simple Stupak

It's March 2012, the second anniversary of when our wonderful president took a bill that no one read and shoved it down the throats of the American people. Shall we celebrate? Well, we can celebrate that the Supreme Court will be ruling on Obamacare's Constitutionality. Just the fact that it had to go to the Supreme Court shows how widely controversial the law is. As much as I respect the SCOTUS and appreciate that our forefathers had the foresight to appoint a high court, I have doubts they are unbiased. After all, Barack Obama appointed Elena Kagen to the court after she acted as his attorney before she was appointed. But who's paying attention, right? Definitely not the media. Everything about this law makes my skin crawl. Even the parts that sounded good left me wondering, where is the catch? There always was one.

I remember Obama selling his health care bill. He gave the same talking points over and over: "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor", "Health care premium costs will go down" and "Taxes will not go up one single dime. We will pay for the law by cutting the waste and fraud from Medicare". It sounded great! It sounded too good to be true. It was. My husband and I have seen our insurance premiums go up three times since the bill was passed into law. Our copays are higher too. The CBO recently reported that Obamacare is going to cost taxpayers a lot more than originally stated. As Congressman Paul Ryan said during that infamous "Health Care Summit", the bill was full of schemes, smoke and mirrors. In short? Obama lied. We were duped. Well, not all of us. There was the Tea Party that held peaceful protests. There also was a good number of us writing, calling and faxing congressmen in hopes of swaying their decisions.

The American people were not the only victims of the deception. There were so many members of Congress who were given promises and probably threats too. There is one that particularly stands out to me. Two years later, we never even hear his name mentioned anymore - Bart Stupak. Congressman Stupak was a Democrat who had strong convictions about abortion. He was sort of the leader of a small group who would not agree to the bill if included government-funded abortions - the "Stupak 11". Stupak was firm; he wanted that part of the bill changed or he wouldn't agree. There were countless interviews with Stupak on television where he stated his views about abortion.

Stupak must have actually been one of the few who read the bill. He found a clause which stated, "$1 per month for all enrollees must go into a fund for reproductive care which includes abortion coverage." He was criticized by many of his fellow Democrats. He insisted that the language had to be changed. Stupak said, "We're not going to bypass some principles and beliefs that we feel strongly about." The pressure was on.

It was announced that the House was going to take a vote on a Sunday, March 21st. All the pundits were saying that Nancy Pelosi wouldn't have called for a vote if she didn't have the numbers. I remember it was more stressful than a tied basketball game with thirty seconds on the clock. We were glued to our T.V. sets. The Democrats seemed to be scrambling; they didn't have all the votes yet. It looked like it was over when there was announcement. Bart Stupak and his gang would vote in favor of the bill. President Obama promised to write an executive order stating that the Affordable Care Act would not fund abortions.

I was shocked; an executive order? Could he do that? Yes, but if the language in the bill was not changed, there was no guarantee abortions wouldn't be government-funded. How could Stupak agree to an Executive Order?

It's been over three years since the Affordable Care Act was passed - or should I say - shoved down the throats of the American people. October 1st of this year, Americans will start to sign up for the "exchanges" in their state. However, only seventeen states have set up the exchanges. That's not even half of the country! The federal government will manage the exchanges in the other thirty-three states.
But will the law pay for abortions?

In the usual political jargon of the Obama Administration, I found this line
in the:

ABORTION PROVISIONS IN THE PATIENT PROTECTION AND AFFORDABLE CARE ACT

"There is no requirement in ACA that health care plans cover abortion,

nor is there a prohibition preventing plans from covering abortion. Rather, ACA gives health care plans participating in state exchanges the ability to determine whether or not to cover abortion

services."

So they answer is yes...and no. Then blame it on the Republicans.
