Obama's "Jobs" Bill Again???
I have been having the most incredible sense of De-ja-vu since our president has
graciously decided to do something about the deplorable, unemployment situation.
As the old, Crosby-Stills-Nash song went, I feel like we have been here before.
You know, I think it's coming back to me.
It was early 2010 and the national, unemployment rate was still a stubborn 10%.
The stimulus package passed in early 2009 was an expensive disappointment. Obama and much of his administration appeared on every news program possible. The claims that the stimulus had created and saved anywhere from 600,000 to two-million jobs. There was no consistency.
My point is, he already passed a "Jobs Bill". It was really another "stimulus" bill, but since the stimulus was such a disaster, they couldn't use that term again.
Progressives do that; they change the names of policies and legislation to confuse people.
